Music Lessons

We have various music teachers who visit the school to teach a variety of different musical instruments, please see below for more details about the different teachers and what they offer.

If your child would like to learn an instrument that is not currently offered, please let the school office know, we may be able to arrange further lessons if we have enough interest.

Subsidies are available via the school to reduce the cost of some music lessons for children who receive free school meals, are in care or otherwise in need of subsidy. Please contact the office for further information.

I am delighted to be able to offer singing lessons at Monkton Park Primary School. Singing lessons can help children develop their confidence, improve their memory and enhance their ability to express emotions. Singing can also promote social bonding, develop language skills and is a great way to develop musical skills at an early age. I offer tailored individual and small group lessons at all levels from beginner to grade 8, covering a range of different styles and genres.
